Situation
Supplies that needed to be segregated for dry provisions, chilled, and frozen goods were delivered in separate vehicles. This resulted in higher transportation costs, increased manpower for loading, unloading, and delivery, and inconvenience for installations receiving deliveries in multiple containers. There was a need for an innovative supply chain solution that could deliver all three types of goods—frozen, chilled, and dry—together without compromising the integrity of our food products.

Strategies
Multi-Temperature Truck Fabrication
We fabricated our own trucks capable of carrying multiple temperature products simultaneously.
Custom Refrigeration Units
A custom-built multi-temperature refrigeration unit with two evaporators was installed, enabling dual temperature settings for both frozen and chilled products.
Partitioned Truck Containers
The truck containers were designed with two partitions, creating three compartments for different temperature zones for the items to be fresh when delivered.
Additional Side Doors
The containers were equipped with two side doors in addition to the rear door, allowing for unloading without disturbing products in other compartments.
